Can you give reasons why?

With the exception of a general shape of this award everything about this one is wrong: pin, catch, hinge, eagles, center disc, sword handles, materials and most probably weight and size- although I am speculating on last two.
Case is a modern reproduction readily available from Reddick Enterprises or Scottie Babcock.

Hi, Unless I am greatly mistaken, the eagles are the give away. Apparently, as the award pre dates the war, the original fakes were manufactured with pre war "droopy" tail eagles whilst the orignals have the later styled "fan" tail eagle. To me an instant point of identification. If I am wrong, then please feel free to correct me. Totally spurious IMO.
