Nice. So if Santa didn't leave it, does that mean you deserved coal?

I really like these awards. Under appreciated in my opinion. Picked up my first last year, and trying to negotiate a deal on one without swords.

Map, I agree. I think they are sleeps. They numerically scarce. Only 7869 of these made., anyway coal would have been more fun. I was not home and my wife got a call from paypal about suspicious charges, uh oh. so its deny deny deny. I said I bought an item off ebay in an area I don't usually shop. shes knows its bs that was a fun conversation.

Numbers produced and numbers awarded can differ dramatically.

    Agree Ralph.

Probably triple produced and there were the back up's for the dress uniform, etc, etc. Then taking into account the ones lost, destroyed, thrown away...

But still, the same applies for KC's and all other medals.

These are still uncommon and IMHO should command a higher premium.

I think they are beautiful awards.

I agree Michael. I just wanted to clarify because in one post he said produced and the other post he said awarded.

    Very nice!

Please compare with my S&L version mit schwerter. Note the identical stampings (both body and pin) the identical pin, catch and hinge arrangement and also the slightly mis-aligned angle of the hinge block. These would look great together but sorry, I'm not selling!
