Hello Map,
I have read the thread over on WAF and they all seem to be happy with it.
What gave me an uneasy feeling about it is the detail of the eagles.
They just seem too worn on the breast feathers and the wing feathers seem to just have enough of a look of being cast that I wouldn't buy it.
The hinge and hook are just about perfect matches for every other original examples that i have seen...or at least have been considered to be originals by others.
Doug
About Eagle wear body, I'd say it that way breast feathers.
Thanks Doug. When/if I have time I will check Meybauer examples again. I thought that the actual block that attaches to the round hinge/pin on the Meybauer examples were much thicker. And this more closely (but I've only seen one example and the pictures were not great) resembles a Junker. In the end, just a learning experience on my part, so not concerned with the outcome.
Regards
Michael
