Did the auction house provide an expected price range ?
They usually do, and if they were 'up' on TR material
they should have known that these are rare
and expensive........

Military Man, The auction houses always claim "Real" based on the seller and limited knowledge
and By "My Grandma said or Great Grandpa" said Uncle screwy, louie & dewey said etc; etc; to ad insult to injury.. Just recently a New Member posted "Grandpa's" Totally fake U-Boat Badge,,

Nope they didn't have an expected price range. The auction house had lots of stuff, guns, bayonets, medals, helmets etc...
