Well I have looked at this Krisse and I think it is either a cast reproduction or is a worn original.
The wear looks a little too 'regular' and I can't understand how the medal would be so worn but some of the tartan stippling looks to be spot on to an original type.
There are what I believe to be casting flaws on the one side. Holes and dinks.
It looks a peculiar colour of bronze in your first pictures.
If it was offered to me I think I would pass on it

Well, it shows the expected pitting and also a amount signs from wear.
Can't find any traces of casting...
I have to say that the 'wear' looks odd. I'm inclined to think that the lack of detail is due to being cast. Numerous pinholes in the surface also point to being cast IMO. Not one I would be comfortable with I'm sorry to say.
The obverse looks very good Krisse with uniform wear patterns but if you look at the reverse it shows some large flat areas where the usual 'fingerprint pattern is non-existent:
There are a couple of odd marks that do look like casting flaws:
So not a medal for me I'm afraid

This medal is a type II and is in no way compatible for use as a comparison to the above medal.I have to say that the 'wear' looks odd. I'm inclined to think that the lack of detail is due to being cast. Numerous pinholes in the surface also point to being cast IMO. Not one I would be comfortable with I'm sorry to say.
