The ribbon loop should be a tear drop shape on theses medals, not circler. I'm sure someone will be along soon enough with an authentic example they can post.

I've heard, albeit rather vaguely and long ago, that some recipients would have the teardrop loop professionally replaced with a round one by a jeweler. The reason being, allegedly, that the teardrop suspension was comparatively weak and prone to breakage.
The medal itself, on the other hand, gives me bad vibes. Can't say exactly what's wrong with it, but I find it's best to trust your gut when it comes to things like this.
