First time to post photo's so please don't kill me for trying... I have One day to send back if not original . I have a concern as to the attachment ring. It isn't as beefy as my 8 yr so I will really appreciate any and all help! Thanks, Dennis

    Hi raz,

No problems here, it's a type II good one.

    Regards, Ned.

    Glad to help Dennis!

I was just thinking about what you said about the suspension loop on your 8 year award and got to wondering if it was the type I (erroneously thought to have been by Deschler) with the noticeably smoother finish? That type has a clearly "beefier" ring than either of the type II 8 and 4 year medals.

    Regards, Ned.

I am not very good at this but I will try to post it also. I thought it was a P&L.

Agreed with the above-a good original. Am abit concerned, though, about the white speckling around the design elements. Is this a zinc alloy piece?
