The medal looks original to me, but I can't help thinking there's something wrong with the photo's. They appear to be taken in black and white or some kind of toning has been used to make a colour photo look black and white....Why? I wonder what the true appearance in natural light looks like, is it perhaps badly discoloured through corrosion or the paint has been refinished or whatever? Just the fact that the pic's are imo, 'messed with' concerns me that something is being hidden, but I may well be wrong.
So an original medal but an in hand inspection required is my thinking. Sorry to be (photo) negative Dan!
Regards, Ned.

Thanks for the help Ned
as for the photos they are in a black background, its just the way this dealer photographs their items.
Almost every item is the same style of phtography.
