SS Feldspange.

Hello.
I received this Feldspnge today.
1. Does not glow under the UV lamp.
2. Devices non-magnetic, are two different ones.
3. Mounting plate not magnetic.
4. Needle magnetic.
I think it's a copy,but I like to hear more opinions.

The devices are fake. (They have soft details, are misshapen and of the wrong color.)

Also, only the highest grade of the SS long service award was to be worn, so two shouldn't appear together anyway, and these aren't even different grades: Both devices are for the eight year medal.

Could these possibly be original ribbon bars for long service medals that have been embellished? The fake SS devices are exactly where the little brass eagle would be.

A saving grace for this item, perhaps. Assuming the price wasn't extortionate, it is at least an original bar. Don't know how hard it would be to find replacement eagles, and of course there would be no way of knowing if the awards were for Luftwaffe or Heer service.

It was a cheap purchase in a lot with other original Feldspangen.
Does not look bad, I'll keep it that way.
