Sudetenland Medal

I recently bought this Sudetenland Medal. I know how much the medal is worth, but how much is it worth with the box? Unfortunately, the swastika has been removed.

Not worth a great deal, probably around 70 Euros,maybe less with the removed swas, however these make a nice set for any collection

It looks like they denazified the case and not the medal. Maybe the two dont belong

Well, it would make some sense to only denazify that which is clearly visible on the outside IMO.

An original set, whether the medal and box belong together is anyone's guess.

I could easily picture a situation where say a widow had in her possession a swastika-bearing medal and did not want to destroy it as it would have some sentimental value non-the-less, but rather decided to only denazify the case as this is the only swastika showing as long as the case is closed. But it's all just speculation of course - and you are right that it seems a bit odd.
