I'm having trouble finding an original example of this Sonderabzeichen für das Niederkämpfen von Panzerkampfwagen durch Einzelkämpfer to compare this one to.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated please!

This is a bad one Jay. Fake ribbon and fake tank. Tank details on originals are much clearer and well defined. The tank is too big for the ribbon, there should be equal and noticeable space between the tank and two black stripes, the weave of the stripes is wrong too, it should run in the opposite direction. This is quite a common fake type to encounter.

I've since noticed the seller has got a few fakes on his site amongst some original stuff.

As Adrian says it's a fake. The black weave's runs the wrong way,tank details are soft on an overly large tank. As a "rule of thumb" you should be able to see two silver weaves above & below the tank,although it can be one & three weaves. But four silver weaves in any combination thereof. Hope that helps folks a bit. Stewy
