I welcome opinions on this TR medal bar.
The medals appear to be period originals as does the bar's construction, and the order precedence appears to be correct, but I would like folks more knowledgeable to chime in.
Thank you
Mark

A superb bar imo

I like this one also.
I see no issues, but who ever was awarded these
was in many theaters, and I'm surprised there
is no Long Service medal(s).........
Regards,
Steve.
Whoever was awarded this was really busy! I think he might have a medal bar long enough to challenge Dönitz's monsters (One of his bars anyway)!
8 medals? That's some soldier, kudos!
Thank you all for the feedback. Much appreciated.
Steve....I agree with you....odd there is no LS medal(s) with this bar. I don't have the bar in-hand yet, but I'll go over it thoroughly once it arrives and hope everything checks out.

That's not so unusual, really.
Soon after the outbreak of war, the bestowal of the long service awards was suspended "for the duration of the war". For those applications that had already been submitted at the time of the cut-off date, the proceedings were completed and the awards made, but all of those cases had been taken care of by 1940. After that, no further awards were made.
So, a soldier who had first joined the armed forces at any time between 1936 and 1945 never got even the lowest (4 year) grade of the long service award.
