Yes, i looked that one over, it seemed correct in every way, I did look at that one very good, and the back was marked in this manner, if my memory serves me correct;

If this is what you found on the back of the Retired Flyers badge I would be very suspicious.
I would expect - under closer examination - you will see:

GODET
u. SOHN
BERLIN

As far as I know or can research, Godet never made the Retired Flyers badge. Juncker are the only accepted maker of these badges with some controversy about badges that may or may not have been made by S&L prior to May 1945.
