I've just ordered a book from Amazon yesterday, "Zivilabzeichen der Deutschen Wehrmacht" by Klaus Patzwall. A picture of this particular badge is on the front, I should be able to put a name to it, in the next few days.

Is it not just the " Militar Verwaltung Frankreich" abzeichen?

Worn by German Military Occupation Administrative authorities.

I notice upon researching there is a "Militar Verwaltung Norwegen"

I would like to see a pic of that one to compare it to the french one!

Book arrived today - has the badge name and a couple of pictures. Rather a mouthful I'm afraid. -
"Wehrmachtgefolge der Militärverwaltung - Frankreich"
"Wehrmacht Personnel of the Military Administration - France" badge. Hope this helps.
