A good example I believe. I cannot comment on maker but others will chime in. NH

Thank you Neil. I will wait for more comments

I believe it is a good one as well.
One of our members, Sindri, has been devoting the time to build a data base for these.

I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "

MG you mentioned "beginner's collection" So I'm not sure if you know, But the ribbon ring that hold the medal is where they are marked. Have you check the ring?
Nice pick up by the way

Hi MG
I agree with the others, a good OM
It always takes some time to find makers for the unmarked ones, but this could very well be an unmarked OM1, Deschler & Sohn.
Good luck
Thank you! It does look like an OM1.
Some time ago I noticed what seems to be like a small white patch (marked in red) as if one of those zinc bubbles had "burst". I am concerned it could be the zinc pest. It is tiny and barely noticeable to the eye, but I hope the picture shows it clearly.
Should I worry about it?
Kind regards,
MG.
