Hello, I would like one of these "Ostfront" medals, and was offered this one for $50US. I have read here, there are fakes floating around. Is this a genuine medal? It has no maker mark on the ring. I can also get one with a number 15, a little better for $65, and also another very good condition maker marked zinc medal, with the paper envelope for $85US.

What do the other members think about the pricing for/and the choices available?? I do not mind one that is not maker marked, I just want to make sure it is real, and not a forgery.

I was also offered a black steel wound badge I have no pics of. It is in good condition, and has about 85-90% of the black finish remaining. It also has an "88" maker mark on the back. Is the "88" a legit maker of wound badges??

The wound badge sounds good too, but please post pics to be 100% sure.

Prices sound OK to me, but I don't follow prices too closely.

Thanks, looked OK to me too, but no expert. Is 88 a valid maker of wound badges? I know the fellow good who has them, and he will return anything I buy from him.

$100 for both sounds fair, but again no expert.
