It must be the uber rare super lightweight version..... Or a horrible fake.....

Another fake I'm afraid. The total lack of hand finishing and wrong rivets kill it, and I'm not sure the eagle isn't even a Known Juncker type, but best wait for Joe or some of the other guys to comment on that.

    Regards, Ned.

Ned, you are right for sure.

The first one is an cast fake based on a IMME eagle and a Assmann wreath. Only S&L made semi-hollow paratrooper badges, but this badges are post war.

Second badge is a fake too. Fantasy eagly design and far away to be a good Juncker badge.

    Regards
    Joe

Hi Guys, Thanks for your comments I really do appreciate your help .

I posted the first one because it is being sold as a WW2 paratroopers badge and is quite expensive and the second is apparently 100% genuine All items guaranteed original and is very expensive. For someone like me who is relatively new to collecting you do seem to put trust in the sellers especially with the all singing and dancing websites. I am slowly learning this great hobby and slowly building up a nice collection which I will post soon. I urged any new collector's to post on here first before buying and/or as said many times on this forum buy good books and do your homework.

Thanks again to Ned & Joe
