Hi, I think that this is a good piece also, the "messy" riveting is a good sign in this case as B&N L are very often seen with poor quality finish to the rivets. The recessed catch looks spot on as well. Leon.

According to Durante´s Text Book B&NL-Type C
Find this interesting. Types A and B had the gold finish applied on both sides of the Eagle s observer. Durante states that for type C, maybe for economical reasons, BN&L only applied the gold on the front, it can be often seen slight bleeding around the edges of the reverse
IMO also a good Berg & Nolte para badge with the right amont of wear.
