Fallschirmschützenabzeichen Badge, opinions?

Hi guys, I have seen this paratrooper badge for sale, I have gone through Tom Durante s book and do not seem to get a match. Maybe because it s a fake one?

it looks like a cast copy of a Meybauer badge.

It's as Doug says, a fake based on the Meybauer design. The wreath is a very accurate copy of the distinctive original type used by them, and the eagles head is also a match for their's as well, but then it starts to fall apart.

The Meybauer eagle was unique in the fact it had only 2 clawed toes, this one has 3. Turning the badge over the hardware is glaringly incorrect, being more Juncker based. Meybauer Luft Para's were only ever made in zinc, eagle and wreath, but this one appears to be from another material. the hinge, pin, catch and rivets are all wrong, as is the spurious 'O' mark stamped on the eagle. Let it go Juan!

Hi, not a good one as the others have pointed out. The "O" mark is an attempt to show an ejector mark, but it is so deep that it is clearly a part of the intended design of the badge, that is made to deceive. Leon.
