    Although the pics are by no means the best, I'm not seeing any major problems with it either. It'll be interesting to see if the OP responds as he hasn't been back since.....

    By looking at it, first glance and not being able to properly see rivets, hinge and catch, I would initially say that it s most like a good late war Assmann type J
