There were several different makers of the FJ qualification badge. These makers were:

- C.E. Juncker

- Jmme & Sohn

- W. Deumer

- G.W.L.

- G.H. Osang

- P. Meybauer

- Berg & Nolte Lüdenscheid

- Assmann

- J.F.S.

Here is my example made by "Jmme & Sohn" This is an early high quailty "buntmetal" badge and will date from the pre to early war period. This badge has had the broken pin replaced. It was like that when liberated.

This badge was taken by a British Soldier from an FJ in the Black Forest region of Germany in 1945. He stated that the German Para "had lost all interest in it" You can read into this what you will....

There was also a cloth active service version which came in many different makers variations. These are well reproduced now and really need a rear view to check on originality.
