Alloy Eagle

Article about: Ok I know it's a reproduction, I bought it as such, but it does display well, and measuring 16 inches across it does look the part. I haven't found an exact match for it on the net, most are

    Ok i I'm not going to gloat. But SOME not all, collectors always take pride in off loading a fake to a dealer. Point in question is the EK2 i posted the other day. To say things have a habit of turning out right inn the end is an understatement. 😍

    It is a "long road" before the book is done by Bender Publishing.
    Postal eagles is not the subject, but some are shown as they are
    railroad look-a-likes in some ways. That's what is told in chapter 1
    where some eagles are shown that should not be confused with
    the postal eagles. Their winspan is practically always 40 cm.

    In one of Bender's last flyers the book is said to be sceduled for
    late 2015, but I expect it will be spring 2016. I can't help it it
    takes soooooooooooooooooo long!
