Pair of Reichsbahn Eagles with Questionable Paint

Hi everyone. I'm considering buying this pair of railroad eagles but I'm confused with the red and black paint on the insignia. Everything else looks ok (I think) but I honestly have no experience with these outside of some research and homework.

It measures 24.5 inches tip to tip and the bolts have been cut but there is enough thread left on them for the nut to screw on.

What are your thoughts? Thank you!

My thought is that both of them are fake.

Save your money . The flat wings on the reverse is a big give away . Mr Saris book on these show a good eagle by wehag and it does not match up with the one you show . Raz
