A very nice original eagle & the hammer price was somewhat high .... it's the 23% house add on that kills you.

I have been watching these for about three years... Just within this past week I have seen 3 disappear from a couple internet dealer sites within 24 hours at this price range. In addition, Wittman sold 2 "trolley" eagles in the same price range in the past week or two... so yeah, there is a run occurring on these RIGHT NOW.

IMHO 3 - 4 years ago 24" eagles (depending on the maker) were going for about 1/2 what this one sold for & the 27"ers were at roughly what this one went for in the recent auction & desk eagles have went up by about 1/3rd in that time frame as well. Items will go for what ever the traffic will bear .... supply & demand.
