Hello thrutheroof welcome to the forum! No one will burn you here. I will stay out of the fracas this time but I will direct you to this discussion thread pertaining to a very similar eagle compared to yours. I m sure I speak for all of us when I say hope you post pictures of your blades. Looks like a nice collection. Kindest regards.
Brian

Welcome to the forum. Take a walk through this thread on Reichsbahn Eagles:

We are driving now but from my iPhone it looks like a good bird.

I like it.
The eagle is a period example which we see several of this maker, un-used and un- cut and most likely taken by souvenir hunters at the foundry which cast these more common types.
Hopefully, the one individual who cobbled up the authenticity of another similar eagle, won't do the same on this thread.

Thank you
THRUTHEROOF....Welcome to the FORUM.
The reverse wing gives the aluminum alloy magnesium (Mg) and silicon (Si).
The magnesium (Mg) content increases the hardness of the aluminum alloy through "age hardening" to a certain plateau of hardness. However, the magnesium in scrap burnt a hole in my friend Cerutti's furnace when we intended to make wire by smelting it. Cerutti and I had to learn from our mistakes.....Doug
