Just introducing myself, my name's Greg. Although I don't directly collect WWII era stuff, I do occasionally do some research into things that have an overlap with the uniforms of this era. Recently I managed to acquire a U-boat deck coat (a genuine 8x4 one, not one of the post-war civilian jackets that are commonly mistaken as uniform), with an interesting personalisation by the original owner I'd like to share with the members of the forum and get their opinions on.

Further to my previous post, I technically made this account years ago and am sure I posted on here about a different piece back them but I can't seem to find any evidence of this. Quite strange.
