Forestry Eickhorn DeLuxe short cutlass - Oberförster Hirschfänger Eickhorn

This short cutlass from Eickhorn has all you can ask for in a Third Reich Forestry dagger.
This is a the short one, and way rarer then the longer ones.
The Ivory gripplates are true beauties, with beautiful lines and colours, the blade is almost mint, it has the Cottbus distributermark on its spine.
The clamshell is marked underneath the filt bufferpad with: Ges. Geschutz and its numbered on the otherside.
Fire gilded aluminium hilt with nice details, well i will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

That's a beautiful cutlass Ger. What do you think the number on the buffer plate represents? Is it a production number or an issue number?

I suspect the number on the buffer plate is either a part number or possibly an assembler's number. Nice looking cutlass Ger!

Thank you Gents for the nice words, its a great piece of art imo, great etch, lovely fire gilded hilt, those lovely Ivory gripplates and scabbard tip fitting just finishes it off beautifully.
