Ok have checked and confirmed that Major Hans Szalla of Narchrichten Abt 430 was awarded the DKiS on 24/12/1943.

For me these docs and signatures are looking good the Nachrichten Abt 430 was obviously being used as the signals unit at Armee Korps level which probably explains why the award has gone to Mansteins level via Hube for signature which wouldn't as a rule be the decision making level for the award.

sounds all good to me chaps. what value would you guys put on a document like this? ive seen other items with Mansteins signature but they were more a postcard type of thing and one of Hubes on some kind of note but i've yet to come across a document of this type. Apart from another doc which was being sold at the same time and the guys name was Hornlein (i think) who (i think) was a Grossdeutschland Commander.

Nice looking Document, Think Paul deserves a Pat on the back for his work in helping confirm these Signatures. Hornlein was a Divisional commander of GD.

As to Value, Its worth what some one is willing to pay, Its very hard to narrow down a Price. You will need to do some home work on finding a Price( Maybe ad 20% to your orignal purchase price?). Today is a Buyers Market. And like you say you have had it this long. so I would be inclined to keep it a bit longer. Paper work IMO is Climbing in price and will do steadily.
