Re: Addition to ones name-Wien 1939 ...2
I forget to tell that every year the garbage eats approximately 90% of the stuff, which can come to the market...
As I bought a helmet which was thrown away from attic ( due of cleaning) and about 5 years was lyied on the ground, the liner is died and became a bit rust...
But in the same time the clothings go to the fire or in the garbage....

Re: Addition to ones name-Wien 1939 ...2
I think you are over reacting a bit, sure a lot get's piched, but I'm in the auction biz and I see ton of things people have in there homes. You have no idea what people keep and what thay get rid of. And yes, I have been at my city dump and have picked up some wonderful things as well. But 90% is a bit high, maybe 25-30% is more like it? But belive me most are not that dumb they know everything has a price to it. So take a deep breath and relax, you me and 2,000 other collectors will never own it all. Thanks Darrell
