Certainly looks like Von Brockdorfs sig and he commanded the Korps at Demjansk but apparently he wasn't in command when these docs were signed.

I belive that because Von Brockdorf commanded the Korps at Demajansk and due to the special nature of that fighting he has probably requested that his sig be on all the Demjansk docs and Laux has deffered to this request.

Don't know whether anyone can confirm that theory ??

Stewy do you know whose sig it is on the Demjansk docs , who the Kdr of II Armee Korps was , i have it down as General der Infanterie Paul Laux , Oakleaves winner but the sig doesn't look like Laux ??
The facsimilie signature is of General Brockdorff-Ahlefeldt who was CO of II Armee Korps at the time of Demjansk but was KIA in May 1943 and I believe that as the Demjansk documents were distributed after he died they all bear the facsimilie signature of him.
