thats a certificate for the golden wedding day.
Mr. Erichsen and his wife got 50 Reichsmark for the celebration.
The signing is probably from the Lord Mayor of Kiel.

Tells me a lot, so is a Oberbürgermeister the same as a Mayor?

It is the same as a Lord Mayor as it was a large city.by CampX
