Interesting little item.
Cheers, Ade.
Indeed, a very nice little item. Great to come across this on an old thread, shows how rich the forum is. Regarding the item, it appears to be marked THERESIENSTADT i.e. Terezin. I have seen and owned quite a few examples of late war paperwork from Terezin, as well as many other locations within the former Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Due to the lateness of the land and the people's liberation, it allowed most things to continue right up until the end, hence why we find interesting late war examples such as this one. Thanks, albeit belatedly, for sharing this piece with us.
Regards,
Carl
Very interesting little item indeed. Especially considering the location and the date.
(the man and the nature of the work too for that matter).
He was working at the Theresienstadt Ghetto...according to Yad Vashem Museum records he survived the war.
