Hello,
What's the deal with this I.D., it's quite new to me?
What is it used for, does it hold any importance or is just
some I.D. for some sort of committee... Sorry for the ignorance.
Please help in the identification.
Thank you.

Führerschein = driver's license
Possibly, Civilian Type?? from Potsdam.
Yes, civilian. Potsdam is the place where the test for geting the license took place.
The license was issued at the city of Nauen, Osthavelland district.
Photo is attached with 4 staples-Same as the Reverse shows) Photo actually has 6 Staple Marks! Is that not strange considering the early award date?
I agree, re-cycling of photo ID's is well known.
I have shown two military versions of the Führerschein on the forum in the past.
Cheers, Ade.
Yes its most likely Recycled, Even more so being Civilian issue. Thought I would raise the Point of the staples to see what others say, Military Type Führerschein from My Collection.
