Documents
What is the best way to get images of documents? Scanning, Camera with a flash or a camera with sufficient lighting to make the document readable?
I've heard that the intense light can damage some documents, even the light from a flash.
The reason I'm asking is I have a few transfer orders my Dad took off a U-boat and have had some people request I send the pictures of them.
Thanks for the help

Re: Documents
Hi, and welcome to the forum!
I think scanning is best to produce a decent image.
Doing this once or twice will not harm the document.
If you do scan them, I woul d like to see them too.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Documents
Hi
As mentioned, Your not going to hurt these while scanning to your Files . All depends on your Scanner but I use 100DPI for posting on the Forums and 300DPI and Higher for close up scans of Signatures Etc. Would be Nice if you could share these with us. You may wish to water mark these Coding Elite
