    Hi Forum
I have just got this DRL Sports Badge In Bronze from about 1933, I think it is an early version from 1933 as the later model from about 1937 also had an swastika ?

The version without swastika has raised H. Wernstein-Jena- Löbstedt and D.R.G.M. 33918 maker and patent marks.

The version swastika has raised HENSLER- PFORZHEIM and D.R.G.M. 35269 maker andpatent marks.

I have enclosed my two versions

The "DRA" badge was awarded from 1912 to ca. 1934. It was replaced by the "DRL" badge with Swastika in 1934 or 1935.

(There is also a "DRL" badge without Swastika. Long believed to be an intermediate version between those two, it is actually post-war.)

Thank you for your additional info, that is why I asked, because I also believed it to be an intermediate version between those two, but now I know it is an early-post-war version

I think you misunderstood, your badge minus swastika is a DRA badge from the pre third reich era!...
