Saw this interesting photo of Johan Pichler.

He was eventually awarded the Knights Cross, DKiG and Ehrenpokal.

Taken Prisoner by the Russians after being shot down by American fighters over Rumania.

What was of interest to me is the cloth pilots badge.

I do like to see photo's from the era of cloth versions of normally metal qualification badges in use ,If clear it obviously helps validate there originality and even existence in some cases! . Also a cheaper (usually) option to buying the metal versions. An interesting photo thanks for showing Regards,Paul
