A black light might be of some assistance. On ebay you can buy a UV light for a couple of £'s. If the paper glows then it is likely that the photo's are modern. Just some info I have picked up from here

I am not trying to cause an issue. I was asking. I have several opinions and not all of them come from War relics, you guys have been great in the past and I will continue to use you guys.
Never thought of that. Thanks!
I agree with Paul, all fakes/post war copies or staged IMHO.
Regards,
Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
Not being funny but instead of "using " us go through the fake photo thread it may prove to be a good learning exeperience for you or just buy the photos and move on !!

Not quite sure what I have done to upset you Paul, I ask opinions. I have my own opinions. No need to talk down to me. The purpose of this forum is to learn, not belittle.
I have given my opinion as have others on here which are all in the negative but the choice is yours whether you want to heed that advice or not i am merely suggesting that if you think they are real then buy them but they wouldn't be for me , i'm not sure what is belittling about that.
Take your chances if you want but please do not waste your money on the reenactos photo or you'll join a long line who have been done by them since they first put in an appearance on flea bay , last bit of advice from me !!

I dont like them all photos very dull, lack of definition , all crisp edges, no wear and tear, they are over 60years old, bottom left black edges showing smells of reprints..curling....just my thoughts..some pictures are just not right, if your happy with them put them the album....
check out some of the ebay cheets all of thare photos look dull...you will see what i mean...phrost
I know them also as fakes..
I have a large collection of original photos and supply copies to several authors ,
Sorry they look fake there is poor contrast from what I see ,might be copies of Originals
but the true sign of there lack of Originality are the edges .
You must have doubts yourself otherwise you would have purchased... Paul is right check the
