    Dear Forum Members,

    I am a new member.

Back in 2015, the attached photo was posted on War Relics EU and the member who posted it said that it was for sale on a website. He cannot remember where he found it. I really need to locate the website source of this photo for my research. Any ideas? I know that this might be a near impossible task, but someone may have spotted it? I was wondering whether the fact that the swastikas are obscured means that it might be a German website?

    Hi.
You are correct, task is nearly impossible.
It might be german website, but that's not a fact, besides germans, many other countries websites are hiding the swastika.
    I hope You get lucky.
    Regards
    Peter

The best bet is to contact the original poster and ask whether he can recall what site he saw it on. I did a search for it online to no avail so it has been sold, removed or perhaps appeared within a dealers website. Chances of locating it are very slim I'd say.

Pity he did not post the original url.

Unfortunately not, just trying to locate this particular photo to see if there is something written on the back.
