Hi all,i have come across this large group of Feldposts. My question is,are the documents that appear to be "in the field"award documents legitimate?Or are they just fantasy items added to the group to "sex" it up!!The so called bronze infantry assault badge that came with the group is a fake,so i am wary about anything here except the Feldposts themselves!! By the way,the Ost front medal is a genuine one but who knows if it was originally with this group or not!! Thanks in advance, Leon.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Thanks Paul, that's great to hear! I liked the look of the Feldposts as a group, just a pity a fake infantry assault badge had been thrown into the mix by some clown!! That was my only reason for doubting the award documents, thanks once more, Leon.
Quite common for people to do that unfortunately , years ago i got caught with a fake Infanterie Sturmabzeichen with a document relating to Stalingrad , the doc was fine but the dealer kindly chucked in a fake badge to sex it up !!
Luckily this particular bloke got caught by the Tax people in the end , must of ripped off someone who put the Tax onto him !!
