All I can say is; I was 20 at that time and quiet impressed!
I met a lot of RK holders and other formal TR related personal, can't understand now why I have only Leon Degrelle and Otto Skorzeny's autograph....
I should have be more perseverant and ask all those people I met.
But I was a child /adolescent at that time, and that would have been a bad manner to go and pull those guy's shirt sleeve to ask for a signature. There was never time or an occassion to do so. Those guy's didn't see each other for a year or more and always were in conversation. The only two signatures i have is because I met them personaly.
It was a neighbour who had been a female DRK freiwillige during the war who dragged me allong to all those meetings, most of them were in Austria during Easter holidays.
Exept for Skorzeny who I met in France and Degrelle in Spain.
My father never new and still doesn't.
My mother was "in" the complot.
