This should be an extremely rare piece. One long-time antique dealer told me the he has never enqountered other than one piece that has Himmler's signature. I've heard that Himmler signed some copies of the book, and gave them to Finnish soldiers that joined their forces in winter 1941 ... or something like that. I'm not an expert myself. And books signed by Adolf have sold for over 50K.
That has to be one of the worst attempts at a signature I have ever seen. Sorry, but that is absolute garbage. Please choose from one of the following options:
1) In the event of an innocent, although highly unlikely mistake...welcome to the forum!
b) Please peddle elsewhere

Ok. Actually ... now that I compare to other Himmler's signatures, I think you might be right about the authenticity ... Sry.
Sorry, Disco...but it is true....that is a Very poor forgery of Himmler's signature...someone ruined a collectable book by doing this fraudulent attempt.

Seen what is written under the signature, looks like a fac-similé of H.Himmler signature.
A focus can help.
The original was maybe made by the ReichFührer.
The H looks very similar as another Himmler signature, but the rest looks more than a "readable" name.
If you know his autograph, it' s very hard to read his name ( like A. Hitler ).
For people ( and specialy if they' re not german ), it' better to do a signature more than an autographe.
Actually, the book has been now in review in Finland's leading art auction house for 4 months. And in addition to the information regarding previous ownership a few international specialist have given their opinion. There are two positive opinions and on neutral. The guy in the auction has has given his opinion that this is genuine.
I don't care if you believe me. But if this what I say is true, what could be the max. price for it?
I don't believe that I will get the best price in an auction, but by finding the right byer by myself.

Sammlermarkt-Nord (Olaf Niemann) has two Official Documents both signed by Himmler at $495 each...
