Hello all! I came across these 4 items and i would like your help!
Since i have never seen anything like this before i know nothing! If original they look very nice and the dealer wants 25 euro per piece!
The question is are they ww2 era original or someone printed some nice pictures and placed them on the boxes?

I think those are post-war creations. Similar listings also declare that these are post-war. A piece of paper glued onto matchboxes with an ornate paper seal... looks pretty poor quality to me. Also, the choice of images seems pretty random, from reproducing postcard images to simply an image of the reichskriegsflagge and a political eagle... it's got the makings of fantasy items along the line of SS bottle caps etc. Taking a cheap/basically worthless item and slapping on some random TR related image to induce a perceived sense of actual value --- and, why would these exist in the first place?

I thought so... The choice and presentation of the images lacked the quality and the fantasy one expects from the TR! It just didn't fit right to have a matchbox with the U-Boot badge on it... Thank you very much my friend!!!

25 euro CENTS each would be a better price to pay.

Then you could use them to light a "genuine" Goering cigar from Snyders Treasures! !

Agree with the group on the post war match box covers...Here are a box of matches and a couple of unopened cigarette packages of mine that are Nazi Debossed Proofed with Eagle and Swas for reference. I believe these are authentic and period piece imports from Turkey.
