These are quite common - I've never heard of them being copied and can't imagine that they would ever be produced as facsimile copies as the cost of printing would be prohibitive. I suppose the jackets themselves could be more easily copied to 'improve' old volumes which have lost them, but in the unlikely event of that you should be easily able to tell by paper quality and by close examination of the print.
Nice books - will look very good displayed with other TR artifacts.

As Philip says, these sets are fairly common to find in Europe. I'm not sure, but I think that '1933' is the date of the edition, possibly not the actual date of printing of this book ( the inscription inside refers to the 20th printing of this edition, totalling so far 900,000 copies ).
But it's an original piece of memorabilia not ( yet ) tainted by the threat of faking or reproduction, and nice to acquire in such good condition.
Thanx guys. It wil look good next to my wedding edition
don't bother reading it,its boring.
Thanks for sharing! Rossi
