I've been watching for a while for just the right condition Mein Kampf people's edition to add to the collection. Given how significant the book was to positioning Hitler and the NSDAP for their run to power, it seems a fitting addition to a collection. This one came up through private conversation, and was just about as mint as you could hope for on a 70+ year old book. The only condition issue present is a little tear and crumple on the lower edge of the dust jacket on the red color on the front that unfortunately occurred when it was packed to be shipped to me. There is no inscription present.

Nice condition! Next, you need a nice Wedding edition with it's slipcover!

    Nice one.
I like the eagle, similar as the " Völkischer Beobachter" eagle.

Hi William! Hope you had a great Christmas.

Yeah, I'm considering that one too. Those are an attractive set, and I like the looks of any book with that antique style spine like those have.

Be careful, though...once you get one, you'll be tempted to pick up one from each city, as the symbols on the covers are all different and fascinating!

This sounds like the voice of experience talking.

A friends father had one of this type - no slipcover.
Probably the most common issue, but this one
    is in fabulous condition.........!
    Regards,

I have a 1st edition US copy in English, sadly without dust cover. Still a terrible read though, could only stomach about 1/3 of it before putting it down...absolute waffling, meandering, unfounded, delusional rubbish!

I offered to let my wife read it late last night. I told her it was guaranteed to put her to sleep in 30 minutes or less. She told me she can't read German, to which I responded that it doesn't matter, it works the same either way.

I bought a cheap USB microscope to play around with, and thought I'd see what 1940's printing looks like under magnification. Seemed kind of neat, so I thought I'd add these photos to my thread:
