Due to the background and lack of clarity, it is not the easiest to confirm Sam. Rommel's signature is also one of the most heavily faked, due to both the desirability of the signature, and also the relative simplicity of his autograph, which makes it easier to copy than others we could mention. I believe it stands a chance, yet only a slim one at that due to characteristic differences with known examples. In particular the pattern around the "R", which in original examples almost holds an inverted pyramidal form which develops into a nice curled swoosh, before leading into the rest of the signature. Is the source reliable?

Carl,
Thank you! The source is reliable and a forum contributor to WAF. Here is a like to his site!
