NSKK Deutsche Kraftfahrt - 1935 Magazine Publications

Hello Collecting Communty,

I added these 3 issues of Deutsche Kraftfahrt, the official magazine of the Nationalsozialistische Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK or National Socialist Motor Corps) to my collection today. It took me a few hours to photograph the content. I hope if you enjoy the NSKK you will check out the images, advertising and content. There is a lot here with almost 140 images.

Each Issue is 8-7/8" x 12". The magazines are dated Ende, September 1935, Mitte, November 1935 and Ende. November 1935. The magazines contain some spectacular photo content with about 160 heavily illustrated pages! Hope you enjoy!

Issue #12 - Ende, September 1935 is shown first. It has details and coverage of the 1935 Reichsparteitag der Freiheit in Nürnberg with photos of Adolf Hitler and NSKK Korpsführer Adolf Hühnlein with NSKK members during the Nazi Party Days, the NSKK tent barracks, NSKK parades, Day of the Wehrmacht as well as international automobile news, motorcycle races, police reports, etc.

Issue #15 - Mitte, November 1935 is shown second. It has great images and content of Adolf Hitler and Korpsführer Hühnlein at the huge NSKK rally at Coburg, the economic importance of the Reichsautobahn or German freeway system (this articles includes a wonderful Heinrich Hoffmann photo of Hitler reading an issue of Deutsche Kraftfahrt magazine), cars and motorcycles enduring muddy conditions during the second Bayerische Ostmark cross-country rally, the Hitler Youth Automotive School in Arnstadt, international automobile news, etc.

Issue #16 - Ende. November 1935 - Extensive coverage of NSKK members at the 8 / 9 November 1935 ceremonies in Munich and their participation in the moving of the bodies of the Nazi martyrs from the Feldherrnhalle to the new Nazi Honor Temples that were built specifically to house the coffins. This article has many spectacular photos of Nazi dignitaries, members of the HJ and NSKK, official parades through Munich, etc. The 1 November 1935 promotion of General der PanzertruppenOswald Lutz is covered as well as cars, trucks and motorcycles during the Brandenburg cross-country rally, NSKK Korpsführer Hühnlein at the NSKK Honor Day of the Saar in Saarlouis, Westdeutschlandfahrt 1935 of the Motorbrigade Niederrhein, the accidental death of famous race car driver Rudolf Steinweg, international automobile news, police reports, etc.

All the issues Deutsche Kraftfahrt have advertising by Shell, IG Farben, Esso, Sekurit Glass, DKW, Continental Tires, Leuna Gasoline, Opel, BP, Bosch, Carl Zeiss Jena, Winterthur Insurance, Adler typewriters and others. IG Farben was the company that licensed the production of their poison gas Zyklon B and was the company in charge of all manufacturing operation at Auschwitz Concentration Camp.

NICE!!!!! Wonderful photos. Could look at these all day. Great news is that I finally spotted a period photo of an NSKK helmet like me (i.e. no ear cutouts on the flaps!)

Thanks! Glad you found a photo of your helmet MAP. Iphones are amazing. No SD Card. Just shot and loaded into computer. Sizing them for the forum and my website took the most time. Took a long time to upload here to the forum as I tried to do high res in case anyone wanted to zoom in. I am still looking at them and have been for last 4 hours and finding little things throughout photos and adds.
