My dad got this from a vet about 30 years ago.through out the years, I never seen another like it myself. he must have glued it to a thick poster board. We always got a kick out of it. the look on the officers face is priceless! I was curious what the members think about it.

I thought you guys would love it. guest at the house have always loved it!

I would really love to know what was written on the bottom. it appears to be expounding teh various theatres the NSKK are in.

the artist did a hell of job with the smoldering background, and the figures expressions and definition are splendid.

    It says:

"YOUNG EUROPE IS FIGHTING IN THE RANKS OF THE NSKK.
Soviet aircraft attempt to attack a vehicle column of NSKK-Transport Group
Luftwaffe. Ready for the defense, the Flemish and French volunteers await the enemy on the rolling truck-mounted anti-aircraft gun emplacement."

Note the artist's attention to detail in depicting the various foreign volunteers' sleeve insignia in the painting; from left to right, they are:

    - Flemish (DM sleeve shield with "Wolf hook" symbol)
    - French (French Tricolore sleeve shield with "Francisque" battle-axe symbol)
    - Walloon (Rexists sleeve shield with "Cross of Burgundy" symbol)
    - Dutch (WA sleeve triangle with "Wolf Hook" symbol)

Thanks, glad I could help! Please notice, though, that I have since edited my post as I had misidentified the Walloon shield for the AGRA version; upon closer inspection I found it has to be the Rexist version instead.
