Have you got anymore photos of the Nordland sterbebild? Based on that date 22/03/1944, would’ve been killed at Narwa, which has become a recent interest of mine after reading Tieke’s Tragedy of the Faithful.

Sounds like you’ve got a great collection of death cards mate, look forward to possibly seeing more photos of them.

    Kindest regards and many thanks
    Harvey

He was wounded at Narwa indeed. Here a bit better foto.

I will post a few related to Bandenkampf a bit later, maybe also interesting for you. Would like to check the 4 SS first, very curious.

Thank you for the extra photos mate, that is really nice indeed. The Bandenkampf ones sound interesting too, those and Narwa ones are my main interest now, only just started getting back into collecting Sterbebild but looking forward to sharing any I get in the future.

    Kindest regards
    Harvey

This is a great thread! I've enjoyed looking through it. Here are my three:

What I've translated from the middle of Notice 1:

    With love never extinguished
    and to commemorate
    Josef Sussbauer
    Railway assistant son from Losenhof
    Private in ei. Tank-destroyer Rgt.
    E.K. [Iron Cross] 2nd class 1939
    born on March 16, 1914
    died on September 13, 1942
    after severe wounding
    at the main dressing station
    R.I.P.

What I've translated from middle of Notice 2:

    Prayer-Keepsake
    on
    Franz Xaver Dannerbauer
    from Deggendorf
    Private in one Mountain Trooper-Rgt.
    E.K. [Iron Cross] II class
which on June 8, 1942 with the consequences
the on June 3, 1942 in the heavy

heroic death at the age of almost 29
    has died.
    Honor his memory!

Translation on front of Notice 3:

    Keepsake in Prayer
    to our dear and unforgettable
    Wilhelm Hobelsberger
    Corporal at one Mountain Troop-Regt.
Reichsbahn [German Railway] employee from Riedlhütte

which on October 24, 1943 wounded
and on November 5, 1943 at the Age of
31 Years has died. He was up
one buried in a Heroes' cemetery in Smela

QUESTIONS: On the first notice, what does "ei." mean in "Gefreiter in ei. Panzerjager Rgt."?

Then with "Gefreiter in einem Gebirgsjäger-Rgt." and "Gefreiter bei einem Gebirgsjäger-Regt." on Notices 2 and 3, do the "einem" mean "one" or "1st" like the 1st Regiment?

I appreicate any help. I have no experience with the German language except with things I collect, and my collection is mainly US items.
