Thanks a lot, the Cholm one is very interesting, its also confirmed on the card that he was part of the kampfgruppe.

Based on the card he was burred behind the church (doesn't exist any more), some more pictures. I have posted the card earlier.

Perhaps I should remind folks that they can access these themselves for a reasonable fee from Ancestry Germany, cheaper than English language site...

Trouble is I’m curious about the fate of these fallen soldiers too. So if it helps build some background to your own collection then it’s cool.

Thanks for the suggestion, didn't know that its cheaper on the German site. Surely something that I will buy in the future to cover all of my cards. Will need to set aside some significant time to go over all of them. Try to pick the most interesting ones, really appreciate your help so far as it shed a lot of light on several very interesting cases.
