Nobody know anything about these ?
I think this might help.
Leaflet prepared for the Allies; "Life / Death". Leaflet number AI-144-10-44-F. The "AI" indicates this leaflet is from Propaganda Abschnitts Offizer Italien, for use on the Allies fighting their way up the boot of Italy in 1944-1945. A nude woman (in a parody of Life magazine) gets the soldier's attention, and on the back is a Deaths-Head in a British helmet; giving the soldiers something a) to live for (sex) while b) showing them what to expect (death).
Regards, Mark.
I have not seen these before, though I have seen similar items. I always wonder how effective this type of propaganda was. I have read that mostly soldiers used them as toilet paper.
Very good examples of the Genre IMO.

Whatever its just an opinion.
Here's another from the Italian campaign showing the road to Rome 'Paved with Skulls'. Sadly, this almost came true for the Americans....

'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
Thanks for all the great information , any idea of how many were in the set ? I'd love to see a complete set .
And I can see "paved with skulls " being used as toilet paper , but half naked pic might get held on to ! lol
Cheers Chris
According to this site...

...this series of propaganda leaflets contained eight different motives.
Great leaflets
A couple of my recent additions from same estate

Here are a few I just framed and hung. All have NSDAP credits with dates on the bottom. Very cool.
